Walk with Giants, Bathe in Nature’s Harmony.
About Sakrebyle Elephant Camp
Sakrebyle Elephant Camp is one of Karnataka’s most unique eco-tourism destinations, located on the banks of the Tunga River, about 14 km from Shivamogga city. Managed by the Forest Department of Karnataka in collaboration with Jungle Lodges & Resorts (JLR), the camp is home to elephants that are trained, cared for, and rehabilitated.
Visitors can witness elephants being bathed in the river, fed, and guided by mahouts. The experience offers close, safe interaction with these gentle giants in a natural setting, while supporting conservation and elephant management efforts.
