Where Serenity Meets the Sunrise.
About Us
Kundadri Hill, located in Thirthahalli taluk, Shivamogga district, is a 3,200 ft high hillock in the Western Ghats, famous for its breathtaking sunrise views, dense forests, and historic Jain temple.
The hill is named after Kundakunda Acharya, a revered Jain monk, who is believed to have meditated here. At the top, visitors will find a 17th-century Jain temple dedicated to Lord Parshwanatha, surrounded by two small ponds that never dry up.
Apart from being a pilgrimage site, Kundadri is a popular destination for trekkers, photographers, and nature enthusiasts. During winter, the hill offers a magical view of the sunrise above the misty forests.
