About Us
Bheemeshwara Theertha, located deep within the Sharavathi Valley near Hosanagara, Shivamogga district, is a unique combination of pilgrimage and nature tourism. It features a sacred shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva (Bheemeshwara) set inside a cave, right next to a waterfall cascading from a rocky cliff.
The temple is considered holy by locals, and the constant stream of water flowing near the shrine adds to its sanctity. Surrounded by dense evergreen forests of the Western Ghats, Bheemeshwara is also a paradise for trekkers, nature enthusiasts, and spiritual seekers.
